Had a great time fishing with my friend, Capt. Charles Hertel, up in the skinny water of Flamingo for tailing redfish.  I normally never get back in those areas, as my boat won’t go nearly that shallow.  But it was lots of fun and great to do something different.  These reds are super skittish in the shallow, clear water… a totally different animal compared to when they are in a few feet in the mud.  This type of fishing is available at Bud n Marys, though you’d have to make a special request as again it takes the right guide and the right type of boat to do it.  Summer time is a great time for it though.  Check out the YouTube video here… and make sure to subscribe to the channel to see more!
