Capt. Trentin Leary is located in Islamorada and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters.  Capt. Trentin has spent several years as an offshore mate learning how to fish and take care of clients on the water.  He decided in 2022 to get his Captains License and was given an opportunity to run one of Capt. Rick Stanczyk’s skiff, and now the Seacraft Bay Boat.  The Seacraft was Capt. Rick’s first charter boat in 2008 and has been restored twice now (in 2012 and again in 2024).  Trentin has learned a lot about the backcountry during the off season fishing with Rick and going out on his own, putting in time and learning the hard way as a young captain should.  You’ll have a great time with Capt. Trent he is a hard working young man and loves to fish and show his clients a good time on the water!

Depending on the trip and species, you’ll be using light tackle and the spinning technique. You’re looking at 4 to 8-hour trips, where you’ll usually go after the likes of Tarpon, Snapper, Snook, Redfish, Permit, and Cobia, depending on the weather and time of year.

You can keep anything you catch, as long as it’s legal to do so.
